Hey (Current) Renaissance kids!

I just wanted to say that in some weird, motherly way I am crazy excited to hear all about your first day of school. So don't let me down, okay?

Seriously. I am nerdily excited. Tell me every detail. I would say I wish I was there, but that would be lying, but if I could be in two places at once that might be my 2nd place just for the afternoon before my alternate self jetted off to the Bahamas.

I love you all - go be FIERCE and strong and create stuff!

EDIT: So I just realized that Amy is the only current student that reads this. Amy, you should make Carolyn join, and whoever else you can think of who's not lame.

Current Mood: excited

Found: Maroon Leotard
Is anyone missing a maroon size child XL leotard? I found it on Thursday around noon in the bathroom in the auditorium lobby. I would return it to the RSA office, but no one is there anymore, and I fail to trust the West Lost and Found.

It fits me perfectly so I wouldn't mind keeping it, but my conscience requires that I try to return it to its owner before claiming it.

Stephen and I are making a movie this summer... its going to be a kind of horror documentary about a man who lived in appleton around the time that TMO was young... (if you want to know more about it ask me later).

We need help from anyone; people for costumes, makeup, hair, general techies to run around and make sure everyone is doing what they're supposed to, but we ESPECIALLY need ACTORS and even more so ACTRESSES... there are numerous small roles in addition to a good handfull of female leads, there are even multiple male leads to be had.

You must be in town for a good majority of the summer if you would like to have a main role.

If you or anyone you know would like to be involved in this production please contact me at amyknisely@gmail.com or you can give stephen a call at 5406406.

There will (if all goes well) be a screaning for you, your friends, and our renaissance family sometime around haloween (once editing is completed).

Thank You,

Check it out! The community is growing.

I am now an alumnus of Renaissance, and I have the hat to prove it.

So: Common Experience. What were your favorite and least favorite performances?

- Anything involving Carolyn Armstrong. Especially the song she sang - HOT. (Pun intended.)
- Dana's hip hop class
- Alaina and Jenny's fight scene
- Acting scenes: Holly & Barnaby, Jon & Barnaby, Holly & Renee

- Anything that felt like an inside joke that I didn't get.
- Acting scenes that could pretty much be summed up by "OMG, boys exist!"
- People who found it necessary to steal focus from performers by randomly walking onstage to get something.
- Anything that dragged on unreasonably long.

Anyone want to post the schedule for Common Experience week, in case there are any alumni who wish to stop by and mock enjoy the artistic endeavors?

Anyone else today feel common experience was really lackluster? I feel very unfulfilled.

It's kind of sad to see classes wrapping up this year... who wants to push for a SUMMER Renaissance School for the Arts (we don't even have to get credits, lol).

Tomorrow will be grand... yeah COMMON EXPERIENCE WEEK!

This community is intended for current and past students of the Renaissance School of the Arts to discuss concerns and ideas, or whatever else that relates to the school. (Or doesn't.)

...I'unno. Seemed like a good idea.
